Evolution

homo sapiens have evolved from Neanderthal man to human like us today. But the evolution of mankind has not stop since. It's a cycle which continue to roll. We have changed subtly from our parents , grandparents , and our ancestors. Though the physical change might not be clearly evident , but our behaviours and attitudes have definitely changed.

For man , the days of male chauvinistic were eons ago. Those men have either fossilised or been made displays in museums. The new generation of hybrids are definitely more liberal and respectful of the other sex. Why not? When do we start to hear the word "househusband"? When have we started to emphasize gender equality? All these issues were only brought up in recent years when men started to realise the importance to co-exist symbiotically and mutually and not predominating the other sex.

On a lighter scale , in terms of self care and grooming , this XY group has also improved by leaps and bounds. Remember the day when our grandfather and father can clean the body from head to nail using one "Lux" soap. What about us today? Admit it. At least shampoo , bath gel , facial foam are used as substitutes of one single soap. Not to mention other skin care product such as moisturiser , scrub , conditioner , toner to name but a few.In terms of hair care product , the most our grandpa will use is Brylcream , and only for very special occasions. Now? Wax , mud , gel , spray , liquid gel are everywhere. No one walks out of the house door wihout their hair being immaculately done. Say it vain but i beg to differ. It's just to be more conscious about our own body and give ourselves the pamper we deserve. Of course not everyone will see eye to eye in this , and those so-called "macho" guy will continue to take pride by using their mutifunctional one-soap-wash-all cleansing routine.

And because of these change , men are no longer just men. Men are tagged differently depending on their lifestyles. 21st century marks the start of the generation of "metrosexual" which reach its zenith thanks to David Beckham. These are the group of men who are obsessed with their appearance , the way they dress , their healthcare and their body. A few years later . today , there comes another new hybrid of men called "ubersexual". This term was first coined by the writers of the book The Future of Men by Marian Salzman , Ira Matathia and Ann O'Reilly. Ubersexual not only emphasize physical appearance but also personal achievements , principles and visions.

So how's the trend going to be? Or how's our future evolution going to change us. Let's wait and see. It will be very soon...

next- stay tune on how to use perfume..
